Six Flags Canceled: More Fun Coming Your Way

It appears the majority of you have sports commitments or vacation plans, so no Six Flags this weekend.

INSTEAD, high schoolers are helping set up for the Fall Festival tonight at 5pm. After that, we’ll hang out at church and do a game/movie night. So we’ll run from 5pm-?. Bring some money if you won’t have eaten dinner yet, and we’ll order some pizza or run and grab some fast food.

Finally, if you’d like to help run booths at the Fall Festival, all youth (both Middle School and High School) are invited to help out. If you’re interested, email me (Luke), and I’ll get you all the information you need.

P.S. You may notice that the registration pages are gone now. They’ll stay that way until we are ready to start registering for our next event: Winter Camp. Registration will begin soon, maybe even later this week if I can shore down a pricing commitment from the team leading the camp.

Surprise!

Hey everyone! Thanks for all the work you put in to pulling off my surprise party. Sorry I found out about it! I didn’t mean to! But in order to make sure I didn’t leave, it was best that I knew something was up, I suppose.

I really appreciate it, though. Since I was a kid I always wanted someone to throw me a surprise party, so it was fun!

For the rest of my birthday, I’ll be heading down to San Clemente to spend time with one of my best friends from college. He’s a pastor and also the national director of Ryfo, a ministry that cares for the unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of touring musicians. He’s a pretty cool guy with an even cooler cause. You should check out the Ryfo site and see how you can help minister to those who shape youth culture.

I’ll be back Saturday to be apart of the “chain gang” for the JV football game. GO BEARS! See you Saturday, and have a great rest of the week!

(Although it’s mostly about that.) It’s also about giving you access to exclusive member content such as the ability to view photo albums, videos, add comment,  subscribe to new site content, and more.

So go ahead and make yourself a little cooler and register right now.
